sorry brother didn't read the whole post ok so you unplugged the coil while the truck was running rough and noticed no change and then cleared the light and the truck is running fine now? With that information I would say that that coil is on it's way out with an intermittent failure. So keep an eye on the CEL and the the condition of the trucks run cycle if you do in fact get another misfire code for I'm assuming cylinder 1 since I didn't read that you switched the coils back then I would replace the coil and call it a day the coils on these trucks crap out all the time although you do read sometimes that people still have the originals in the truck I call BS I've replaced 8 coils twice in 230k miles so that would be my input
hell ya bro and they ain't cheap I saw someone posted they paid $200 for 8 coils and I'd like to buy them where he bought his motorcraft coils are $80 each
