I had no sputtering at all. Just the higher than normal idle. Means shifting into gear puts more strain on the tranny, and shift points were higher RPM as well. Wastes a lot of gas until remedied - and you won't pass emissions when the time comes.

I know it's not good for the tranny and all about the emissions testing. I was just curious if it was hurting the actual engine.
