So my overhead console needs resoldered and I've tried for literally 2 hours. The plug won't come out is there anything that I can do to still get the compass out to solder it? ( yes mine is the one with the moonroof )

you just got to grip it and pull down it will make you mad. Haha it took me like 20 minutes just to get it pulled down. does yours have a moonroof? If not then idk how to get it down I think there's screws if it has sunglass holders. Mine looks like this. ( resoldered it once with the wrong wire went out like a day later )

Is the screen in that white with a green plastic cover to give it a green tint in this video? Or is the screen green as well?

 

i honestly don't know. I think the screen is green as well. The tint is probably to make it less bright. Here's the screen taken apart. I can't get it unplugged again haha. I got it out and the solder like turned into a powder.
