Hey LoudestSilence - 1) Greetings from Stone Mountain. 2) for only the 3rd time soldering, you did a great job! Surface mount soldering is the most difficult of solder jobs - and most delicate. You only need a 25 watt soldering iron - anything more would have damaged the board. Good Show!

I fixed mine today thanks to the writeup above. THANKS LoudestSilence! One thing I would add is to not get discouraged if all of the resistors appear to be in place. Mine laid flat and didn't appear to be loose at all but when I re-soldered them my display started working again. I also found a good tutorial on Youtube that helped me with this repair.
