Post out with the old in with the new and a problem

i finally sold my 1997 ford f150 red cab flairside 2wd 4.6L with 195xxxkms and up graded to a 2000 ford f150 7700 extended cab 4x4 5.4L engine with 174xxxkms

top-my 1997 f150
bottom my new f150 7700









now my problem is in this new truck the passenger door lock doesn't work so i have been xl'en it and reaching across to lock it does any one have a thory on what the problem could be??

and the other problem is i miss my old 1997 and love my 2000

comentts and suggestions are appriciated

I'm jealous of your 7700.. I want!!

I have the same problem as you, my door lock doesn't like to work on passenger door. I was told it's probably the 'regulator'? Take off the door panel and check it out. Just haven't really found the time to mess around with it. I'll try to follow this thread if someone knows the exact problem.....

if it clicks and sounds like its trying to lock/unlock it could be a bad solenoid. my 350 does that. lucky its a work truck otherwise it would be a major PIA

truck looks good man. good luck with the 7 lug, ha ha.

ya i love it i would love to get some cool rims but i can't find the style i want

and the door there is no power running to it so could it just be a fuse?

That would be my first guess.

As for the rims, I hear its a major PIA finding some that looks good.

my truck did the same thing i'll ask my dad what it was tomorrow that fixed it but whatever it was is on back order at like all parts stores both of mine were broke the drivers broke and now the passengers goin out too.
