from my understanding (if you read the stuff on edge's website) your not supposed to be able to use it in anything besides an f150 due to different pcm's.... just thought i'd throw that in
also make sure you program the vehicle it left back to stock before you try to put it in anything else to "experiment" it will leave on vehicle disabled and the unit locked out of the original vehicle
