Default Oil Plug drip

Well my truck has started to leak oil from the oil plug. Is there some king of high temp silicon washer or something I can use to stop the leak?

Thanks,

Brick

Have you tried a new oil plug? They come with a new washer.

Agree with first reply. I would try a new plug for 2.99 at the parts store. If that doesn't work you might have a bigger problem (cracked oil pan, etc.)

My old 98 f150 leaked from the oil pan. I replaced the oil pan plug and it still leaked. I ended up getting rid of the truck so I never got around to fixing it. Th oil pan was probably cracked I'm guessing.
