Default fog light question

I am looking at a HID kit for my fog lights, the only problem is that my fog light cover things are getting pretty yellow, is there any way i can replace the cover with clear ones? i have a 97 f150 (born on 8/96 though, i know the headlights are different for mine so idk the fog lights)

6" LED light bars FTW. By the time you buy new fog housings and HID bulbs you'll be in the same price range as these and these will blow those away on performance. Last pic is with only the fog lights on.

About $140 a pair. And they're wired into the factory fog light harness, yes.

Might be a dumb question, but when it comes to lights all of my questions are dumb lol. Can you cover the LED bars up with a stock looking fog light cover? I like the out put but I don't think they would look good on my truck.

You might, but it would screw up the pattern since the factory fogs have a diffused lense

Browning, do you run with them on while driving? Or are they only used for "off-road" use?

If the first question is true, how many oncoming cars flash their lights?

I run them whenever my headlights are on and as DTRL's. I have never been flashed with this new setup. They're aimed low and out to fill in the dead spot my projectors didn't cover so well. But all of my lights shine below window level on most cars when they're on low beams.

Where did you pick those light bars up from and how are they mounted?

Bars came from eBay, here's the writeup on how I did them.

If anybody is wanting to do it on an older truck, it should still be about the same process, you'll just have more space on the sides.
