Default Oil filter relocating...?

Ok, so on the 97 and 98 trucks, the oil filter is the easiest thing on the truck to get to, but on my '03, its a absolute pain in the *****. And i've heard of oil filter relocating kits, but can't seem to find them. Anybody got any suggestions or ideas?

Thinking about getting one of these:

For those of you who have them, where does the oil filter mount? Any engine pics would be great. Does the kit come with sheet metal screws to mount through the firewall or something?

Assuming you wrote that, your writing is superb. Yes, I too get that little tickle of self worth and righteousness once an oil change is done.

I've come to the time in my life and after owning many vehicles determined that for a shop to do an oil change and inspection is well worth the cost. A second set of eyes on key areas never hurts.

I did, and thank you.

It's precisely the fact that I don't trust that 2nd set of eyes that I prefer to keep all maintenance in-house. I suppose if I had a shop that I really trusted I could outsource some stuff. As it is, I even hate dropping a vehicle off for a tire change or an alignment---jobs I don't have the equipment to do. The idea of somebody else driving my car/truck makes me very nervous.

Some trucks had them behind the front bumper from Ford. Don't know what or why some did and others didn't but some did.
