Default Oil change

Been reading alot of bad stuff about fram oil filters so I went to ford and got a motorcraft filter and some 5w20 motorcraft oil.I have had the fram on for about 2000 miles and was wondering if it could have done any perminent damage to my engine.

I would doubt that you have. Fram filters just suck in general because the filtering properties of them just arent that good. If you havnt heard anything rattling around in your motor or it doesnt sound like you have a little man with a hammer in there trying to get out, id say you are good. Just stick with the Motorcraft from here on out.

There is really no telling what it could be until a mechanic actually looks at it. It could be something simple or it could be something big. If you have a rattle in your engine then get it checked out before you do anymore damage to it if you havent already.

If its a small rattle i would add some lucas oil additive,I have used it on some old engines and it quiets them down alot.
