I'm getting the ones off that site. 8" 100 watt. Id like to paint them black. Do I need high heat paint?

IMO - It couldn't hurt. I'm sure they put off a fair amount of heat. Are they going to be on for long periods of time while sitting still ?

Probably not but I'm sure at some point in their life they could stay on while sitting still.

they normally wont get hot enough to burn paint as most of the heat is being projected forward.. but high heat grill paint if you feel the need
