Offroad lighting showdown!
Both of my light bars are totron and I haven't upgraded my battery. I'm about to install a power distribution block. I've got black wheels and tires that are sitting at the tire shop waiting to be siped so how about no.
Ok, I'm sure this has been done before, but I want to see what everyone's got for offroad lighting. Lots of pics, day and night if you have them! Here's mine, 8000k 55w HID heads and fogs with a 30" curved led lightbar behind the grille, and a 40" led lightbar on the roof.
You really have to watch when buying LED light bars these days. A lot of companies are only using low wattage LED's (1-3 watts per LED) which is what makes them super cheap, but have a really ****ty light output. You ideally want a 5 watt minimum wattage per LED, 10 watts is better. Those are the bars that will give you decent light output.
A 150 watt light bar made of 30, 5 watt LED's is going to be better than 50, 3 watt LED's as the light will be brighter, and go further.
Unless only seeing the first 20 feet in front of your truck is your jam, them low wattage LED's will be great.
