Mostly any vehicle can go off road, it all depends on how difficult of a terrain you'd want to take it to.

recently bought all terrain tires would a lift look odd because it might make the tires look smaller?

depends on the tire size and lift size.. besides.. function is more important than fashion, thats just my opinion

I have a leveling kit and 265x70x17 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's and I offroad and mud pretty hardcore... Having a atleast a 4" suspension lift and 33" tires would be more ideal or even 6" and 35" tires would help alot. The clearance you gain is much needed.

i have a standard suspension on my "nite" with 31-10.50-15 and if you check out my new thread in general discussion you'll see that even just an upgrade in tires can improve the performance of the truck in off road scenario's
