Thats what I was thinking..... plus I would mount a high lift to one side and a axe to the other side and a shovel in the rack

Yep, that one of the reasons why I had to have this canopy! It makes it nice not having to climb into the truck just to grab something up front

I could be wrong but I think some people just bolt them on or they get rails and mount them to the roof or canopy, I would really love to have one of these on my truck to put on my roof with some lights, high lift jack and all that good stuff. let us know and be sure to post pictures when you get one or if you make one

I was browsing through some old TOTMs and saw a red truck with a safari rack. I thought it looked pretty cool, I'll try and find it so you guys can see it. It's the only one on the site that I've seen. Can't wait to see your homebrew one, OP!

Found it:https://www.f150forum.com/f32/july-truck-month-9873/ For some reason I thought he had it on a topper haha but I guess not! Still looks pretty cool though

You can probably build yourself 1 pretty cheap unless you find 1 on craigs.. and I would screw it in, but use small plates underneath the canopy so it doesn't rip the screws right out. Something that will hold surface area and prevent it from ripping off. Canopy looks nice matched.

Instead of doing the safari rack idea I was thinking about buying a ladder rack and them welding some tabs on the front of the ladder rack for some lights. That way I could put my little aluminum boat up there for duck hunting too!
