what extras do you get with the off road package? shocks? gears? h.d. cooling? hd trans? or just the decals+tires.

 

Decals, all terrain tires, should have skid plates, should also have a additional front mount transmission cooler also. Possibly could have different gears. But the majority from the trucks I've worked on and seen were equipped with 3.55's. It also came with a LS rearend. `

 

17" wheels, rancho shocks, decals, LS rear, 265/70/R17 Goodyear AT/S tires, 3.55:1 gears... that's about it

 

I dont recall all ORP getting 17" wheels. Also Rancho shocks was started with the whole FX4 ordeal..

 

The LS rear isnt always true. Mine has the offroad package and doesnt have the LS rear, but that will be changed soon!!

 

Yup, my fx4 "off road edition" had a 3.55 open diff.

 

Mine has 3.73 ls rear end

 

Fx4 or "offroad package" comes with skid plates, 3.55 or 3.73 gears, rancho shocks, 17" Fx4 wheels, A/Ts, decals, and not positive but I've observed that they are level at stock rather than the 4x4s that have a bit of a rake.
