Default Odometer went out

So on my way home from work today my odometer went out. I read a different forum that this is common... My question is... Is it just a light bulb issue or is my odometer not working at all? If it's just a light issue but it's still functional and tracking my mileage I'm really not in a rush to tear the dash apart.

It's still counting. It's caused by cracking solder on the back of the odometer connection. It might go in and out on you. It's pretty easy to fix just pull the gauges and put a dash of solder on each of the connections. There is some videos on YouTube of how to fix it

I have the same thing on my to do list. Once we get settled in the new house, I'll tackle this project.
