Default odometer trip off on

Little bit hesitant to ask this question,
because it might entail removing the gauge cluster, which is a thing that I do not feel comfortable with.
But will have to bite the bullet if it necessary.
The light in the mileage recorder goes out intermittently, so I don’t feel that it is a fuse.
If anyone has any idea’s I would appreciate your thoughts.

2004 heritage is essentially a 97-03 truck. It doesn’t share much with the 04-08 generation.

I can tell you in the 04-08 gen, it’s easy to get the cluster out and the bulb is easily replaceable. I cannot tell you how to do it on your truck though.

You’d have better luck in the 1997-2003 section.

It is a pretty easy process to get the cluster in and out.

Also moved to the 97-03 section.
