i have a digital odometer, it is on sometimes and off sometimes. (more off than on) Jiggle some wires around when it was on and that didnt do anything so i gave up. would be nice to fix it.

I know Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum has a how-to on repairing solder joint failure. Another common failure. No big deal. The only link I used to have is not valid any more.
