Default OBD II Bluetooth Scanner

Anyone have an Android based phone and have one of the bluetooth OBD II dongles for them? I've seen several brands online and they look sweet as hell. Just wanted to hear from someone who may actually have one, how do you like it so far?

I have a 97 and 03. Elm327 and torque pro and it works flawlessly. If you can't get it to connect with the pcm check to make sure the power led is on. Other wise you may have a blown fuse for the power port. If you have power your settings are wrong.

The problem is with some of the cheap ebay Bluetooth adapters. I bought one for $5 and it works on everything but ford's. Bought another one for $12 and it works on every ford I've tried it in.

Which elm327 do you have? I see three different ones available on amazon. The reviews on one elm that I looked at were terrible.

The ozzy gear model is fairly new with great reviews, but the reviews might be from ozzy gear??

Straight from the Torque forum:

"If you buy one of the cheap china OBD2 ELM327 bluetooth adapters from ebay / amazon, then make sure you have a good returns policy with the seller.

Some of the best reliable OBD2 / OBD adapters are the [AUTHENTIC - NOT KNOCKOFFS] Scantool.net adapter, the OBDKey, and PLX Devices, OBDLink, Bluetooth, ELM327 and other adapters are supported - search on google for them."
