O2 sensor loose

i would put a single drop of blue loctite on it and be done...much easier. it shouldn't come off and won't take a ton of effort to remove it either. don't go crazy with it and don't use red.

Let me explain my reasoning,
Our O2 sensors use a crush washer... you should always use a new crush washer when re installing an O2 sensor. The washer crushes but wants to re expand thus locking the threads together...

I'm trying to save him from searching for a crush washer for the O2 and also save him from aggravation when the loc tight doesn't work... Either heats up and liquefies or cooks and kills the male and female threads upon the next removal... (see trashed threads below)

here's one of our type I just pried the crush washer from, you wouldn't even know it was there till you push a screw driver against it...

Trust me, a quick tap with a punch and it won't back out, it's a mechanical weld and is easily broken loose by hand... also use never seize on it, the slight grit texture will help lock it as well as keep it from freezing up in the threads and ending up like the one I just took a picture of...

This is why I love getting advice from him logical and reasoning to back it up don't get me wrong I love hearing and getting advice from everyone but he always has reasoning behind it
