Default no start? maybe electrical ??

Hey guys...so went to start the truck this morning....it turned once and then quit. Now there is no power at all with the ignition turned to on. No dinging no windows nothing. I have not checked the battery yet. The battery is only a few months old. I noticed occasionally the gauges would "reset" and do the sweep motion. Last couple of days it was having hard starts like a battery issue. Any ideas?

I will check battery and cables when I get home.

If the battery is drained I could have the alternator tested.

put a meter on your Battery if it reads 12VDC or above...you have a connection issue..

don't you mean 12.5 volts or LESS ?

I am guessing if it has low voltage then the alternator is bad. Because this battery is almost new. Unless I just got a ****ty battery...
