No Crank At Key

No Crank At Key
Hello everyone,
So I'm back to working on the 00 that's been sitting a couple years. Still doing the same thing as before. When trying to crank all dash lights go out and clicks at the ACC relay Relay #5 in cab which is really the only sign of life. Can run a button to the starter solenoid and jump it and starts right up and runs great. Something new I figured out is if I run a jumper wire from the hot wire on the neutral safety switch to the small wire that runs to the starter solenoid (I think is grey/red cant remember) it cranks when turning the key to ON. I thought maybe the neutral safety switch was bad so replaced and no change. I am just so confused on this thing and not sure what to look at next?
