Default Nitrous on a 5.4

Just wondering what your thoughts are on a nitrous kit for a 5.4 with 100,000 miles? In about a 75-100 shot range?
It's a good deal price wise, and would be just a toy to play with.
Just worried about how everything will hold up to it?

The truck and tranny feels fine, no underlying problems that I am aware of.
Should I do it?

If you drag race go for it, but i'm gonna guess that you don't with a 4x4 so its pointless imo

I love giggle gas, if you don't get greedy than it's a great mod, if you wan't S/C power with factory rliability go for it

but you do have to be careful and do it right.

A bottle a month with a wet kit and set-up right you won't have any problems

a dry or wet kit with 2 bottles a week with a great tune, only time will tell

I'll be spraying my 4x4 thats gonna be S/C for mo powaa and the cooling effects it'll have on the motor.

Run a 75 shot, you can feel it and it's alot safer

Blown engines are cool to watch.

I hate to call you out, but this is completely false. Anyone with a proper head on their shoulders knows that nitrous is completely safe if used within reason. Anything under a 125 shot and a proper tuner will preform just fine on his vehicle with a window switch and FPSS.

Ford's autos are built fairly strong. The auto tranny will handle more power than the bottom end of his stock block will. And even the rotating assemble will hold fin untill you get closer to the mid 400s.

Given a good, solid tune, and the companion safety equipment to go along with a wet/dry nitrous kit, it is completely safe when used by an intelligent car enthusiast.

Your comments to me just strike me as someone who has never dealt with any form of power adder let alone nitrous. Dont believe everything you watch on the movies! If im a little off-base on my comments, I apologize; this is just what I gathered from your response.

I'm still up in the air whether to get it or not. Found out it is a dry kit, and I still have the stock program

I don't know much about them. How much is ok to run with it stock? He said it comes with nozzles for 50,75, and 100 I believe.

If I were you I would only run a wet kit. With a dry kit your going to have to supply the added fuel somehow, how much fuel depends on the shot size you choose. Wet kits are just easier to manage IMO.
