Default New Mods!

Alright, i got a big paycheck this week and instead of putting the money aside for new tires i went a different route.

First off i did the Gotts mod. Super easy install it only took me like 5 minutes. I could feel slightly more throttle response but not a huge amount. Since i was already working on the intake, i figured that because my filter looked a little dirty i would upgrade to a K&N drop in filter...

Wow. It runs so much better than it did before and i am ready to see an increase in my mpgs. My exhaust (Magnaflow SI/SO) rumbles so much better now and does not seem so damn quiet like it did before.

Im impressed so far by the results but we'll see how well it does after my gas tank gets so Empty. Ill post results as soon as i can.

Flow master super 44 or 40 are nice sounding mufflers. I have the 44 on mine and father has the 40 on his and they both sound sweet

So the k&n was a huge difference with the gotts mod? I did the gotts mod but still have. The paper filter.

I have a 40 on mine and it's got a good deep rumble on it. It sounded great with 2 cats cut off and even better with all of them off I'll post video links to both here in a sec

This might help you decide

With the front 2 cats cut off and the Flowmaster 40

With all the cats off and the Flowmaster

It sounds good either way but since my cats were going out I went ahead and cut em off.

Me too and it got rid of the little bit of drone it had before.... It's not obnoxiously loud but it sounds mean
