So I don't if anyone else has ever done this but it's been my idea for awhile and I finally got around to doing it, took the carpet off door panels and put nice black diamond plate there instead, I love the outcome.

WOW that turned out great. You should start selling kits to do this. Bet you could sell lots of them. Also can get different color rivets to match the door colors.

Looks good, I've been contemplating this for a while because I'm tired of cleaning that carpet lol. I don't think I could do that good so I never did it. Good job, and X2 to pete for selling kits lol.

My buddy's 00 lariat doesn't either. I guess leather models didn't have it
