New Gears?
im thinkin about getting 35s on my truck in a few months after i get a lift and i was wondering with me getting bigger and wider tires will i need new gears? im being told i do, if so how much are gears? im not sure how wide the tires will be i do know they will be 35s. helpp
You'll lose some power. You don't have to regear if you don't want to. Your motor and tranny is just working harder moving the bigger tires.
If you regear 4.56 is ideal, and it's usually $1800 for both front and rear installed.. lil pricey.
My buddy has 6" lift and 35" tires and he runs with me just fine and I have stock tire size and Gryphon.
