That's why you need to make a decision when it comes to putting a $3,000 engine in a 10 year old, 2wd truck with almost half a million miles on it.
Sometimes it's just better to scrap them.
I personally think you would be lucky to get $2,500. It's not a huge market of people looking for something like that.
Pull the motor out and sell it for $2,000. You do have receipts to prove it only has 15,000 miles, right? Better yet, leave it in the truck so the engine buyer can test out the engine first.
