Default Need some wiring help

Alright so i just had my engine torn apart to fix a head gasket and im slowly finding little things that didnt get put back together correctly

Here's my problem, my truck will start and run but when i turn in off and try to start it again the next day it will be completely dead. No power at all or very minimal. I figured it is probably that some of my ground straps/wires are not connected because i found this.

I know it goes on the backside of the head on a little bracket thing, but that is incredibly hard to reach let alone try to put it back on there.
Can i just take that wire and ground it somewhere else on the head? If so, where would be a good spot? I also don't have a ground wire from my frame to my body. Would this be causing my battery to die all the time or is it my battery or alternator?

Electricity is not my strong suit....

All ground wires are there for a reason, and you should be able to put it anywhere on the head, a don't think thats your problem, it sounds like you have a voltage draw pulling your battery down.

Thats what I thought. It would have to have a light on or something light that to kill the battery continuously.. im confused
