tman....let me give you a suggestion. This picture only gives us a bit of what we really need to see. If you would take a farther out picture, so we can get a better idea of what the hell is going on. Take one from the front also, showing the power panel on the firewall by the battery.

Just from the picture, there is no way to identify where this mass of wiring is going. I'm sort of thinking the blue wire is the one to the power box and the other is the line for the ??? The way is right now, and with only a part of the picture, it is really hard for us to help you.

I'm almost inclined to think that there was a large accessory on the front of your truck at some point. Maybe a winch? Maybe a plow?

Like AK said, is there another pic you could give us... specifically wherever this wiring ends up?

Def aftermarket, if it's not connected to anything and your trucks running fine then remove it. That doesn't look like a ground wire it looks like it's connected to positive. Def don't ground it

Wait are we talking about the blue wire?

I thought he was talking about the blue homejob wiring but he said ground wire. Then the other photo eliminated any guesswork.

If he's still around ...do not connect the blue to ground!

I assumed he meant this wire cz it’s just floating up there so I assumed he held it up when taking the picture (and forgot to focus on the wire lol)

this wire is a ground. coming from starter motor, like I mentioned in original post.

just need a picture showing where this wire goes.

weather its grounded to the body, chassis or battery.

and the blue wire is a 0guage going to a distribution block.(for the guy claiming homejob)
why cram it on top when I have a perfect side post???
lol

anyways heres a pic referencing where its coming from.

and really all I need is a pic showing where if this goes to
sameone has cut it.. idk who I made mad but yeah...

also I found this because I went to drive it(rare because I only put 400 miles on it this year) and all it did was click violently.
not like loose terminal but like outragoues click.

anywho I'm done rambling heres a pic.

also I understand its just a ground... but I just wanna do it right... ive had it for 11 years and I don't do things halfa**
