Default Need some help with brush guard

Hi Guys,
I have a '99 Expedition. I just bought a brush guard, push bar thing off of craigslist for $50, couldn't pass it up. The thing is it didn't come with the mounting brackets so I am hoping if either someone can definitively identify it or if they have something similar if they could take a picture of their mounting brackets and how they mount up to the truck.
If I knew for sure who made it I coulod contact the company in hopes to order some brackets, It could be any one of many different manufacturers though. I will say that at the bottom that would curve under the truck is 30" wide which sets it in the middle of the frame rails.
My plan is to sand blast it, POR-15 it and spray it with bedliner from Autozone and mount some off road lights in it. Thanks

If I remember when I had my brush guard...the mounts were nothing more than angle iron with holes and flat plate with holes. There was nothing crazy about it. I took mine off and replaced it with a bull bar.

ON my truck where the towhooks should be there are holes in the frame. I put 2 grade 8 bolts on each side and got some angle iron and torched holes in each and bolted them to the frame. I can send you pictures if you would like. Ill have to get them tomorrow

That looks very similar to the center portion of my brush guard. I will try to get a couple of photos up close during daylight and see if that helps you.

I haven't forgotten about getting the photos for you. It's either been raining or it's too dark after I get off work. If nothing else I should have them this weekend!

I got a Westin sportsman off of craigslist for $50 a while back. I ended up having to get some 4" x 4" angle iron (in my case stainless) and fabbing up some mounts. Really all it took was drilling 3 holes in each side and mounting them up. I searched forever online for replacement mounts, but either they were completely sold out/out of stock or were over $200. All it cost me was some time to measure/drill and a 6 pack for the stainless.

whats weird with mine is the bottom is 30" wide, neither the insides or outsides of the frame are 30" so I think mine hangs onto brackets hanging of the bottom of the frame- in other words the bottom of mine would center up right to the center of the frame
