Default Need an opinion

Hey I need some advice. I want my truck big and loud. Only problem is I don't know what I should do. A suspension lift or body lift. Also I put dual exhaust in but....it's def not as loud as I want it. It's straight piped with no muffler now. Any suggestions on anything would be very appreciated thanks

If you can afford it, I say go with suspension lift for sure. It will give you more clearance from the ground. They are quite pricey though. As for making your truck louder than straight dual exhaust, I dunno. That's what I've got, and it gets pretty loud.

I heard suspension lifts can really only be 4" max without having to do a bunch of mods to pretty much everything or is that the body lift???

yes anything bigger than 4 in and your going to be modding your entire front end but in my opinion it is worth it as far as exhaust is concerned i don't know of anything louder than straight pipes but if you still have your cats on and then its striaght piped then i would find a way to get rid of your cats hope that helps

me personally leave it alone cuz then your screwing with your drivability and realibity (not the best speller) anyways you might get a little better if you add some headers and do you know what size pipe they used

The purpose of My tuck is to yes get around. Although I want it big lifted and loud. Thanks for your concern but if I was worried about commuting ability and reliability I'd get a car haha. This is my luxury vehicle.

They just cut them off and weld pipe in there, the light will come on and stay on unless you get a tuner and program it to run without them. It's probably going to be obnoxiously loud, mine has a Flowmaster muffler with no cats and is loud but not rediculously loud it has a good tone to it.

ok well most shops won't remove the rest of the cats but you could do it yourself but you would need headers and then go to http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PSM-82-1153/ get that and then find the matching headers for that should make it more louder as far as lift there a plenty of big kits how big you wanna go
