Default need help. how the hell do I get this out?

Its a 2000. I tried pouring on the slot at the bottom but I felt like I was breaking it

You have to turn the headlights on, pull the **** out, use a pocket screw driver to pop the **** off, put it back on backwards, then turn the headlights off. Then you can pull the headlight switch out.. .

Hey, I removed mine a few weeks ago to reglue the face that was falling off. There is a screw that holds it in. The side trim panel pops out and you can access the screw to get that whole piece off. At least if my memory serves me correctly. There might be one or two screws holding the bottom trim in which hold the side trim piece in by the switch.

There are no screw that hold the headlight switch in. Some just have spring clips. They change it mid year in 2000
.

Ah correction on my post then, I have a 99 and it def had a retaining screw. Good luck.

Then someone broke the switch previously and used a screw.
