Leave the BL.... that's a lot of work to lose it... why get rid of it? Just make some brackets for the new bumper and gusset em to the frame!

Couple of questions:

1) Will you be removing the bodylift yourself? If so how comfortable are you with it?

2) Do you have all the stock bolts and body mounts that were drilled out?

It's not hard to remove the BL since you can leave many things where they are (such as ground extensions) but some you will have to relocate/remove (fan shroud, the piece on the transmission, etc)

I agree with A7X, just leave it, and have a few gussets made to relocate. And it'll be cheaper than paying someone to remove the BL and having to buy stock replacement parts if needed.

Any competent welder/fabricator could get it to fit as designed.

My concern is that in parts, it'll be a few hundred (dealer markup on all that good stuff), and probably another few hundred in labor, if you can find someone willing to take the chance on removing it.

Then again, I think brush guards are pretty useless because it protects nothing, and if you're in an accident will probably cause more damage anyways.

doesnt a brush guard and bullbar hook up the same way? right at the front of the frame where the tow hooks are? if so the guard would just sit lower than usual and wouldnt cover your lights like it normally would. my bull bar used to come up to my grill but after i put the body lift on it sits alot lower but still looks good.
