Need help finding a part
Yeah, but at $16+ a can, that would make for an expensive little plastic doodad.
I wanted to "exact-match" my SiriusXM antenna, but couldn't justify buying a whole can for just that little piece. On the other hand, I wonder if I could successfully spot-paint the area of the dash where someone rubbed off the finish. It would likely be hard not to end up with tape lines on one hand, or too much overspray on the other.
OP: Sorry. The ones I have are like the ones on the left in the pic you posted. Good luck with your hunt.

Are you telling me that you couldn't modify one of those caps to fit your vehicle? I have to laugh some times when people think that everything for their 20 year old vehicle should be available, but isn't always exactly as one would want. You sometimes have to be creative. Either that or get the tan and paint it to match. IFGU
AK, I just looked at the two side by side (the '03 uses the one this guy is looking for), and yes, you probably could modify the one I have to fit the hole, but it's thinner, and wouldn't set flush. It would end up inset. It's also rubber, so not quite as simple (but not impossible, of course) to reshape as if if was hard plastic you could Dremel. Even if you got the interfering portion shaved away, you might have to use some adhesive to make it stay.
I agree that we can't expect Ford to keep 20 y/o parts in stock, but understand the desire to get the right part if it's available elsewhere. If it simply isn't, then yep... Ya gotta get creative.
