Default need exhaust help!

hey guys, I just picked up a 99 f-150 5.4, for some reason most likely to get the cats someone cut off the y pipe coming off the exhaust manifolds, I have looked and to no avail can not find an aftermarket one anywhere. I was wondering if anyone knows of where to get an offroad one or if they have a used one lying around, really don't wanna spend a whole lot on the truck due to rust. thanks in advance

Just take it to an exhaust shop and have them make you one. It's easier and probably cheaper in the end honestly. Any decent shop can bend the pipe and give you custom true duals for the same price as if you order it piece by piece and if you go that route, then you have to pay an exhaust shop to do it for you so. Buy two mufflers, two tips that you like and go to an exhaust shop and let them do the thinking.

I don't really wanna drive it anywhere with the open manifolds, I also don't wanna spend the money to pay an exhaust shop to make me one cuz then ill have to get cats, I just wanna get the y pipe. im mechanically inclined and can do the rest to my flavor, I have come across that y pipe before, but wasn't sure if that's the one that connects right to the manifolds or if its the one after the cats, it also says that its made to fit pacesetter headers. has anyone put these on the stock manifolds? if so that would be just the ticket then I just have to figure out the 02 sensors bungs and a cat so I don't get a cel

I hate to sound rude but there were 2 suggestions given which are basically your only two options and you said you didn't want to spend the money on both.

1. Have exhaust shop bend up up a set, most won't do it without cats, some will, if you pay cash. You CEL will be own thou, unless you get a custom tune.

2. Buy a set of mid pipes and install

3. Your last option is to find a set is mid pipes someone removed off there truck and buy them and install.

But all 3 options require spending money.

I'll ship you some factory manifold and midpipes if you want. The converters are shot but seems to be what you need. Just weld in a new converter and add the o2's
