Default Name for this hose

So I got a coolant leak coming from this hose on my 98 f150 (see pic) no clue to what the name of it is. If someone could help me out I would appreciate it. I have tried the part number, diagrams nothing.

18465 parts group is a coolant bypass hose. Most likely to the throttle body by the picture. Take the number on the hose, put it into RockAuto's part number finder and see if they have it available. If not, there is one on eBay and other Ford parts sites.

Yes, you won't hurt anything by doing so.

You must cap BOTH sides. You can get away with HD auto vac caps for a temp fix. Must be the HD type.

I've seen others cut a section from the old hose, plug up one end with something, reinstall.....for a temporary repair.

Keep in mind when ordering the new, - there's two sections to the by-pass hose....front and back. The hose in the pic is the front. - Just in case they're are sold separately.

I'd hit RA first, - for more hose info if needed and to see what's offered. Use that info to assist tracking down what you need, -

Just purchase a length of heater hose with the same internal diameter, as you might not be able to get a preformed hose any longer.

I will be doing that tomorrow. Hopefully the coolant wont spray out the bottom of the hose this time
