We know the one plug is the trailer controller. The other plug should be a courtesy light type plug. If it has the blue with red striped wire (light power wire), that would be what it's for. My 03 KR I sold to my SIL, had a different, unusual light on the drivers side when the door opened, and it was plugged into the 3 wire plug. I had never seen one plugged in before, but it was there. It had power pedals also, but that was plugged in near the emergency brake pedal. At least that is how I remember them being. That was 3 months ago. When you get older, it all melts together. lol

Yep, trailer controller and power pedals. My '03 Heritage didn't come with power pedals, however a trip to the yard, and a little time changed that. I like having them, and do used them. A bit of an annoyance with the spring on the pedal... These things were eventually prewired for options they didn't have. Like when I added a power rear slider to mine. Already prewired, and I got a steal on the trim piece. Same for signal mirrors; just swap in the right mirrors, and they'll work. I added the signal mirrors, power pedals, and rear slider to mine. I also believe the radios are also pre-pinned for 6-cd changers, and some (which have the Mach stereo option), amp. I added a 6-CD changer to mine, and it works perfectly. Just had to get a plug with the right wires, run it to the changer, and add power. Amp will eventually come.

Where is the plug stashed at for power rear slider? I wonder if my trucks got it prewired

Way behind the headlight switch taped to the harness. You needs to shine a light to see it, but it'll be an orange plug held on by a piece of green tape.

I posted a question in your build thread. Please delete that. Didn't know I am not supposed to post questions there.

So here is my question. Did the bolt holes match? If they didn't, how did you solve the problem? I have a power gas pedal from 2000 Expedition. Bolt holes don't match my 97 reg cab. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Responded on the build thread. Got home not long ago, and typed up the response before I have to head to classes.
