My back doors no longer open
Hey guys, hope you guys can help me out ASAP on this issue. Both of the back doors on my '99 truck no longer open. Late last year the passenger side door stopped working then last week my driver's side stopped. I know it has to do with the cables that run in the door but how can I fix the issue? I plan on selling my pride & joy next month because I need to buy a van but I need to fix this problem before I put it up for sale. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
By the way, used the search function & this is what I've found so far... Is this the only way out? I'm noticing it's a pain in the ( ! )

Take the panels off the rear doors n look inside youll see a cable probably floating free I had the same problem n so did my pops we just took zip ties and tied the cable back tight
