Flowmaster gets my vote!!!

 

Try the search button and do a little reading. There is alot of old posts on exhausts, so no ones opinions will be left out. I have always liked the Borla sound, but they are pricey. Fordfan likes flowmaster, its all opinion really. None will give you all that much power gain, so its really what sound you want and how much you are willing to pay for it.

 

i would say flowmaster for sound but i like the fact that magna flow is stainless steel

 

Magnaflow. They are a straight thru design, IE No baffles in the way. They are reasonalbly priced. They sound good.

 

I watched a program on the original Maremont cherry bomb and was amazed at how restrictive the Flowmasters are. I went with a dynomax race bullet, small, easy to fit anywhere, straight through and stainless. I actually have some for sale in the trades section. But, as posted, it's all in personal preferrence as to what you may like. I don't think anything sounds better than a set of 2 chamber Flowmasters on a Mustang with a 302 but my single bullet sounds just as good to me only in a different way. I tried to record the sound of my truck but it just sounds like a#$ no matter how I place the camera. Youtube has some recordings of different mufflers on different applications and some actually sound like they knew what they were doing when recording them.
