Ohhh i thought you were talkin bout the piping before the muffler(fyi if your exhaust is stock and the person who first bought your truck from the dealership didnt custom order a true dual exhaust then you have a single exhuast with a y-pipe) but with a si/do muffler its gonna be a little louder than a si/so muffler but not by a whole lot

So just changing the muffler and putting a duel outlet won't be loud?

Yah itll be loud but not super loud, if you want it louder you can take off the rear cats and replace with straight pipe or if you want it even louder than that you can change your whole exhaust system to a 3" single or 2.25" true dual setup

i have true dual 40s and i like the way they sound. not as anoying as my straights. they are actually pleasant to listen to. and when you get on the gas it gets real aggresive sounding. as far as the y pipe i would so no, just get a single in dual out and the 44 is louder than the 40 but i dont think its much louder but i dont have any experience with them. hope this helps

I have Cherry Bomb Vortex Catback. It's a SIDO setup. It is not like other Cherry Bomb products it's not loud. It just provides a good deep tone. There is no drone from the exhaust either.
