If it works for you I say go for it. I have bought a lot of parts for LKQ pick your part and had good success with them. In the old days when we used leaded gasoline the mufflers would wear out fast and you usually had to change them every few years. Today they last forever. If it looks good it will probably last a long time. I recently stopped changing out radiator hoses because in the old days they would go bad after a few years and break on you unexpectedly. Today they last forever. I changed mine a few years ago on my 21 year old truck and the old ones were still good after about 18 years. Never going to change them again. I figure you will never have to change out that muffler. The exhaust systems I have changed in the past 20 years have all been over 10 years old and the vehicles have had 200,000 on them. The muffler you got will probable last you for as long as you will own your truck.

Torca makes the best clamps bar none. Ford uses them with their truck lines, for the connections at the back. They also don't deal with a lot of 3rd party sellers (resellers). They ain't cheap though. The best price can be had at their site.

If I was going to be constantly swapping exhausts yearly, say on a 2015+ Mustang, Torca is a better option.... I agree Brew. They are better at being re-used.

One or two time use, I've found those Walker Mega's to be a worthy piece to use.
