4r70w problem need help diagnosing
2002 f150 ~98k mi 5.4 v8 xlt 4x4
wont go into gear in D, engine races. Get 1st & 2nd when OD is locked out. Reverse is ok. Dropped valve body no unusual debris. 1-2, reverse, OD accumulators c clips are in place. 2-3 accumulator didn’t have a clip (does it need one?). Haven’t pulled the pistons or disassembled the valve body yet. Is this broken springs, stuck pistons or solenoid issues?
