muffler ideas.
So I recently put some pacesetter long tubes on my 03 scab with the 5.4. Right now it is connected to the stock tailpipe using a pacesetter y-pipe. But its leaking at the joint. So I am going to get a single 3in exhaust put on but I don't know what muffler to go with.
I want to have a nice deep, and crisp tone. But I also want it to crackle when I either down shift or let off the gas after hard acceleration. So what do ya'll recommend for a muffler that's under $75.

Thats how I had it right after I put the headers on (I took of the stock muffler before I had headers.) And it was to unbearably loud and sounded like crap.

Serie 10's are race mufflers, and they are not stainless. They will have a annoying drone on the interstate. Corsa or Magnaflow are the way to go. I have a flowmaster ans after 5 years it has quite annoying.

It might be the super 10 they call it now but pretty sure its stainless otherwise they have false advertising and are goin through the trouble to stamp it in the muffler itself. And there is zero cab drone when goin 55-65 get over that and you can hear it a little bit but not that bad at all. Different strokes for different folks though.
