Here is my adventure (well the only one I got stuck on and had a video camera around) from a speech project my senior year. What did I learn? Invest in a a heavy rear bumper and a locker for more traction. Never had a problem since. haha

nice video man, I don't know how a heavy duty rear bumper would keep you from getting stuck though?

Keeps more wieght on the rear tires. Keeps from braking lose as bad. Ever wonder why alot of northerners put firewood in the back during winter?

hmm.. nope I lived in Ohio for 5 years and never noticed but now that you say that, and now that I think about it, added weight in the rear makes sense if you have a 2wd

Alot of us ohioans did that out in the country. Just helps the rear stick a little better.

We normally put sand bags in the back of the trucks when we get occasional ice.

I lived in northeast Ohio for 20 some years and always put 2 49 lbs sand bans and I big concert parking block over rear axle in the winter I never got stuck in my old 2wd ranger.
