I have been getting the codes P1500 and P0503. Found out it was an issue with the speed sensor. my gage works fine. so replaced the one to the computer that is located on the tranny. still having the light come on and the codes come back? anyone got any ideas?

*my edge when shown the mph on hwy and cruise set at 70 fluctuates between 58 to 96.

The way the gauge reads the speed is usually through a variable resister which should be thing on the trnsmission you replaced. I would like to just say search for a bad conection and clean the connections between there and the speedometer. Thats what it sounds like to me.

 

I cleaned the connection to the new speed sensor and i still am getting it. Thought maybe my programmer was ****in things up but even after gopin back stock its still doin it. Its driving me nuts...


IDEAS ANYONE?
