Default motor help

i have a 97 f150 lariat 4x4 with a 4.6l v8. long story short my motor is seized, and I need to swap it. im leaning towards a 351 or a 5.4 v8 maybe? what do you guys think? and im not saying ive got the money for this but would it even be worth it to swap the motor out or just buy a new truck...

5.4 is pretty strait forward, you need a complet engine form tb to oil pan, and you will need to modify your y-pipe to fit it. You will also need a tune.

i agree with carcrazy i would go with a 5.4. mainly because it came in these trucks and there would be less electrical issues to deal with
