I just want to make sure when it's all fixed again that it will look nice, if I have to spend $500 in deductibles it might as well be for mods to improve the look

Two words. Road armour. That bumper will protect the hell out of your truck. Or build a custom one

And insurance most of the time just covers factory pieces, maybe get them replaced then sell them. There's a lot of people who will buy stock headlights and other front pieces. Then use the money to upgrade

Do you know how those lightning grills attach? I'm hoping I can just get the surround and have them leave the grill out so I can install one or buy one and give it to them before I bring the truck in.

I was told I might be able to bring in parts and have them take the amount off of the deductible so hopefully it will all work out.

Those road armor ones are sweet but I don't think they would match the lines to my truck very well

They clip in like the honeycomb, it's the same surround with a different insert. But I'm not following what you're wanting to do here... If you want a grille surround by itself just buy it, but you can't hardly find just the lightning insert

If you want insurance to pay for a lightning grille I'd just remove your honeycomb insert and tell them that's what it had and it got nocked out lol

You can just pay whatever excess. Some bodyshops will work it out where the price difference kinda disappears. Just depends on who you deal with
