Also the plugs I bought have a 5 yr warranty so I guess if they fail it’ll be on them.
Factory Motorcraft Platinum plugs are $2.30 each from RockAuto. Plus a few bucks shipping.

Yea I knew before I got there that anything 96 and newer is ob2. As far as the plugs go, the ones I got work great and have a warranty. Don’t see how I went wrong either way. Every vehicle is different. While johns truck may run best with motorcraft platinum bills may do better with ngk iridium or something. It’s all about how the engine has been maintained over time. Again I’m not expert I’m just happy to have my truck back on the rd to take my dad to the VA for radiation treatment.

Another parts jockey with their head up their you-know-what. Could you point us to where you read that info on the recommendation for Autolites? I'd like to go straighten that out.

Here's a link to where I get my plugs:

thanks for the link. May use that next time but I was in a hurry. I usually buy all my parts off eBay but I couldn’t wait for the plugs. Found my set of coil packs on there for 40 bucks

Yea, I'd like to see that. There's no one on this site who purposely ef someone over with inferior parts. This guy is all about knock-offs...I mean come-on , -40 dollar coils and Autolites. I hope his father doesn't need that radiation therapy that bad, or better yet, has someone else to help out, someone with a head on their shoulders.....cause this stuff is just crazy. Plugs and coils aren't that big deal for these trucks IF you use AT THE VERY LEAST OEM SPEC. Pimping parts isn't recommended. This info just isn't on this site, it's on EVERY F150 gen 10 site on the net. I hope his dad has someone else to rely on...seriously. That truck is going to start misfiring, it'll be like domino's one after the other, it'll blow the converters...stranded. Those cheap coils have no thermal protection, one little surge and it's gone. So yea, I want to see who recommended this as well.

lol You’re a sad little man. I just wonder what all these other poor people do who aren’t fortunate enough to hear your know it all advice. I don’t care talk as much **** as you want because I’m the guy that buys cheap parts. I don’t mind re doing the work since they don’t mind offering me a warranty if it tears up. If it does leave me stranded on the side of the road I’ll just call and have one of my other 4 vehicles brought to me. No sweat. You do what you wanna do cuz I’m damn sure gunna do what I want.
