We replaced the whole intake manifold which was a couple hundred dollars on the new one the gaskets were built right into it we probly could have just replaced them though but since its plastic and my truck overheated when the thermostat stuck we figured it'd just be best to replace the whole thing

Also if you haven't done it lately and have the funds to do so its a great opportunity to change plugs and cops

Ok basically all my cops and plugs are new I was going to try and replace mine with a 99 intake which is metal. Also when your gaskets when out did your fuel mileage suck?

I have all new cops and plugs. But was wanting to replace my intake with a 99 metal intake, also when your gaskets went did the fuel mileage suck?

Idk yet haven't had the truck to long but I was getting 13 mpg and I thought I was getting a metal one for the price

I was going to find one from a wrecked truck but haven't had any luck the only one I found was from dorman and its plastic. And I'll post a pic of my fuel gauge and mileage see if you think it's bad

That wouldn't be to bad if you had a ten gallon tank lol I can only get like 230 out of mine so I'm hoping changing all that helps but id recommend a set of like swiveling sockets I think that's what they are called if you don't have any
