In my tire shop I have a couple different spark plug sockets and they are magnetic. Find yourself one of those.

This is going to sound like a really dumb question but what size spark plug socket do I need? And if I can find a magnetic one I will grab it but if not the old rubber will do the trick! Lol

Did mine a couple of months ago, it took about an hour. Plugs and coils. Problem solved, been running smooth ever since. You don't need to remove the fuel rails either.

That took about 7 hours. But that includes going to the store for about an hour and a half. It was a pita for real. I think ford could have thought that one through a little better. The only super bad part were the 2 last plugs on the drivers side. They are literally right under the fuel rail. So it was an all day project but definitely worth it. They were all stock plugs going on 170,000 miles. They all looked pretty bad. Thanks for everyone's help.
